It's much like when a 5 year old runs towards you, waving a piece of paper in their hand, excited to share with you a few scribbles they've just drawn--"See? See? That's a house! And, and that's... a tree!"
It's best to just nod and say, "That's nice, dear."

Can't wait to see what Ricardo comes up with for our story. I'm all excited!

I love the way you wright! It's so...colloquial! And hilarious! And fun! I absolutely love it! I feel like you're right in front of me, talking to me, lol.

Weeell, I can send you a story I wrote about 6mths ago--my Art and Patty story. I'm yet to fix it up (it's got lots of those adverbs I was talking to you about!). I guess I see that story now as playing about with the characters, developing them, getting a handle on who they are, rather than the "real" story. I'm thinking of reworking and rewriting the whole thing for NaNoWriMo... I could be getting ahead of myself here, but I'm beginning to suspect the story might just benefit from a plot.
:D
I'll email it to that address you gave me.

I've written you a long email in response to yours.
You know what? Having you read this now has been great for NaNo prep: suddenly I've all sorts of plot solutions jumping through my head, when 6mths ago, I couldn't work any of it out. (I think I needed time away from it)
Thanks again!

This reminds me of the '60s. When I hear it, I get images of long brown skirts and long hair and yellow daisies and yellow-green grass being blown by the breeze and people sitting on woven blankets with acoustic guitars. :D
