hey naika! Great job but I have to point out a few errors... sorry. JMo wasn't alone at the awards. Her sister was with her and you put Cameron instead of Jennifer in this sentence. "She looked around. Omar and Jesse still didn’t show up. Robert was busy talking to Gaby and Hugh remained in his position, his profile facing Cameron." but otherwise I like what you did here. It was subtle but sweet! :D
Hey thanks for pointing out the Cameron thing, I am soooo used to typing her name all the time :) I knew she was there with her sister, I meant the pair-less aspect of it :)
*squee* There's nothing that could make me happier than a Hugh/Jen RPF :D This is very sweet, and somehow seems true: He felt like she was so amazingly open with him, as if she made sure he saw her entirely and without reservations. But he knew it wasn’t that simple, he knew she had her own demons. It was written in her smile, in her persistence at being careless and happy. I love that part because sometimes that's actually how I feel about Jen. And from the way he looks at her, I always believe that's the way Hugh feels about Jen, too :) Also love this part: “Jen, you’ve got to stop doing this to me. Looking as beautiful as you do, you’ve got to stop being so nice”. Again, it rings true to me somehow :DD
What? Who would call her a backstabbing bitch? What has she ever done? I don't understand why someone could hate a person he/she doesn't even know. You don't have to know someone to like him/her, but you have to really know someone to hate that person. And that's the truth.
*sigh* I adore this, and it is so welcome since we hardly get to see them on the show together anymore! I love your RPF's so much, this was a real treat.

This was really beautiful. And sad in a way. But then again I do believe there's a strange kind of beauty in sadness.
Truly wonderful fic!
