[This old man feels like he's done nothing more than invade the privacy of others here, but in his defence, with a phone that has such blatant privacy invading features, he can't help but view these dreams, memories, desires and fears. It's not like he can sue the maker, and demand that the feature be removed or anything...

But he's a meddlercaring individual at heart, and he can't ignore things like these when they're shoved right under his nose. He's at a loss for words, but feels the need to say something. He can't just watch something like that, and then shut the device off like nothing happened.

And so he begins with:]

Miss, are you all right?

[To be honest, Euphie's not even thinking about the possibility of her dream being broadcast to the entire network when she first wakes up. Once she's been made aware of it, however, she accepts it fairly quickly. It was really only a matter of time, she supposed, and the dream easily could've been much worse.

The concern being shown to her by this stranger -- someone who doesn't know her as a princess and therefore feel obligated to care -- makes her happy.]

Yes, I'm fine now, thank you sir. [She forces a tiny laugh.] I suppose it would help a bit if we were able to control which memories we dream of, wouldn't it?

Ah, well that's good! [He shakes his head at her thank you.] Just making sure, have to check sometimes, you know.

[And it's true, he can't turn a blind eye to this kind of thing. He nods, perhaps a little sadly, at her comment. He's dreading whatever memories he will cook up and share, since he doesn't have a whole lot of happy ones, and some that he'd rather keep to himself.]

That would be convenient, yeah. But I'd personally like to remove this feature completely!

[He says that with such goofy enthusiasm, and a small pout. He can't have his way there, and it sucks.]

That's very kind of you. There aren't enough people that seem to think like that in the world.

[At least, not in her limited experience of the world. Too many people looking out for themselves and not giving enough regard to other people. That's why there was so much hatred in the world.

She gives a bit of a giggle at his next comment, and the way in which it was said.]

Yes, that would be quite nice indeed. I'm afraid you won't have much luck with it, however.

[As sad and as true as that is, he still proudly proclaims:]

Just doing my part! Gotta make up for that lack.

[He also might be trying to sound cool. Typical Kotetsu.

He pauses to think, though, before lifting a finger in front of the screen with a know-it-all jab.]

I know! We should buy dreamcatchers. Maybe it'll stop our little broadcasting problem.

I think you're doing a fine job of that, sir.

[It's okay, she'll totally think he's cool, unlike a majority of the females in his life. She also thinks he's very clever, and... frighteningly enough... more than a bit funny.]

Dreamcatchers? That's a very clever idea! [Then she actually considers the idea, and --] Ah, but... would such a thing really work in a world where we're already dreaming to begin with?

Thanks! I do try my best, after all.

[So much grinning. Euphie might as well be his favourite person right now. It's nice to meet someone who doesn't tsun at him right off the bat.]

Hmm. I haven't thought that far ahead. [And that's typical, too.] But it's worth a shot, anyway! Even if they don't work, they still look nice.

It certainly shows.

[She laughs rather openly at his solution.]

You have a point, they do look rather nice. Aside from that, your optimism is truly a wonderful thing to see! [Oh yeah, she forgot that she never caught his name. How terribly rude of her!] I apologize for the lack of introductions. My name is Euphemia li Britannia. It's lovely to meet you, sir.

[At her laugh, he finds himself joining in.]

I'm glad you think so!

[Even if he's not speaking to her in person, he still takes his hat off and places it over his chest.]

Ah. It's nice to meet you too, Euphemia. I'm Kotetsu... [A pause and he clears his throat, noticing she gave her full name.] Kotetsu T. Kaburagi.

[A nod, and he replaces the hat with a grin.] At your service!
