Chris climbed onto the bed behind Seth, wrapping his arms around him and kissing the back of his neck before burying his face into his wavy curls. "You smell like bergamot and almonds," he informed him, breathing in deeply.
Seth snorted, lying flat on his tummy, reading a book. "Do you even have any idea what bergamot is?" He brought his elbow up to jab Chris in the ribs, though not particularly hard.
"Nope." Chris grinned and rolled off him, propping up on one elbow and allowing his free hand to play with Seth's hair. The blonde pushed his hand off. Chris moved it back, tugging lightly on a curl.
"You've been stealing my shampoo again, haven't you?"
"I prefer to think of it as borrowing." Chris pouted. Seth raised his eyebrow until the pout turned into a laugh. "Come on, Seth. One day we'll be living together, and I'll always be using your shampoo. And I won't put the cap back on the toothpaste."
"Sort of like now?" Seth pointed out dryly.
Chris nodded enthusiastically. "Pretty much. Except we'll be living in a really cramped apartment. And we'll hate our landlord. But we'll have plants. And maybe some goldfish. But the goldfish will probably die, maybe Boxer'll eat 'em."
"Just what makes you think we'll ever move in together?" Seth asked, turning a page of his book.
He took the book away from him, bookmarking it carefully, and tossed it onto the floor before pulling Seth into his arms. "It's just a little fantasy I like to entertain." He kissed him once, softly, on the lips. "I'd let you pick out our furniture."
"How generous," Seth replied, but let himself be held without complaint, for the time being.
