Setting: The Effect is set in Los Angeles, California. Most of the action, however, takes place in the home of Ethan Valente, a wealthy doctor slash research scientist slash business owner.

Situation: The Effect first began on an X-Men roleplaying site that I co-owned. The title was to begin post-Decimation. The characters featured are almost all mutants. There were brilliant plans for actual plots and whatnot, but I haven't actually written any of that stuff out.
The Cast: The cast of The Effect is rather large, though some of them are minor parts. Most of them live together. The others are in some way connected to those living with Ethan.
