man, i have the worse case of the travel bugs. yes, bugs, plural. i have many of them. they're invading my body. sucking the life out of me.

tomorrow is the last day of my job. it's been both incredibly frustrating and incredibly rewarding. well, it's official: i'm going to vanderbilt in the fall. and it looks like nathan will probably be at UT, which means we'll at least be in the same state. i just realized i never mentioned that i got the scholarship at vanderbilt. (i found out tuesday.) it's worth $5,000, so on top of the $15,000 assistantship stipend it's actually pretty close to UGA's offer ($24,000 for the Presidential Fellowship). not bad at all.

it started when i went to the office and checked my box and saw that dr. grossi had left me my graded take-home exam: 68. what the fuck. lowest grade i've ever gotten in school, period. no idea where that came from -- i was expecting an A. i'm supposed to rewrite it, so that's not the final grade or anything, but damn. she said she wanted it ( Read more... )
