"-I've started to realize that I need to stop looking to get "better", the "better" I've been looking for is just the way things used to be and I just need to keep moving on and making things better in the future by learning from experience and letting go of some unrealistic expectations I had for life."

You are good.

jordan, we were never really friends, but just part of similar hardcore/indie/punk lehigh valley pirate cove/vegan scenes. I wish we were friends and if I still lived in the lehigh valley, I bet I would come hang out at Vegan treats, eat a ridiculous amount of doughnuts, and talk with you.

jordan!
tell us westphillians your schedule for dropping off treats in philly, and we'll have you over for dinner! we miss you!

it's funny that the older I get, the more being punk becomes an integral part of my personality, rather than becoming irrelevant. it's sad to me when other people feel they need to give up punk to be 'grown up'.

The funny thing about the people who claim they have "grown up" or were never punk to begin with is that many aren't anywhere close to being mature or "grown up," having their shit together, or coming to terms with things like their social insecurity and inepsy in general. This includes people in their thirties or even older, and some of the "higher ups" at my job who act untouchable to mask their own fuckups. I just turned 24, and it seems like most of the punks I know these days are around the ages of twenty or thirty, and it does get lonely at times, but in spite of the pressure, I find it simultaneously makes it easier and harder but ultimately more rewarding to stay involved with punk.

Jordan! I would've been able to make it to this show had I not just read this now. Where can I find out about LV shows?
Let me know when the next Ghadder show is, and I'd love to hook y'all up in Baltimore or DC sometime soon!!
