Thank you Very kindly. I'm constantly self-doubting the voice of a particular character in anything I write so you're saying so is beyond flattering.

Aren't they lovely? I mean... honestly, what's not to love here? At first, I was drawn to the odd combination of Roe/Speirs, but Lipton captured me. How can you not adore that man?

Hee! I like to think it's less about looting something shiny and more about the sentimental value attached. Actually, in my world, he wears that thing in Korea and with the misson to the Lao Royal Army. But that's just me. =)

OMG, no! Now I've got that image in my head. Now I'm having totally inappropriate thoughts of masturbation!Lipton involving that damn ring.

The structure of this is interesting, but I do particularly like the evolution of Speirs different ways of thinking about Lipton, from the titles to his name to the growing familiarity.
