My semester is over and I am finished with my assistantship today. We had a small party to celebrate in my office. It was a somewhat boring job, but I met nice people and the position will be good to put on my resume. I went to the zoo yesterday.  I wish I could be a sea otter.  That would be the life. 

On the hunt for a job...  along with a million others  =)     ...  let the fun begin!

My parents came up today and we moved a ton of stuff...  I seem to keep everything.  I really need to learn to throw more out as I go.  Two days left here and then I am unemployed.  What will the future hold?

I don't really care for packing, I realize how much junk I have but am really reluctant to actually throw it away.  We are doing orientation here.  It's alright, but making small talk for an hour and a half is a bit difficult and causes undue social stress.

I have a week left...that is a weird realization. 

I am excited about the upcoming changes in my life.  July will be a busy month.  I am done at NDSU on June 30th and we will be moving back to the Twin Cities.  We have started to look for apartments.  Moving and the wedding will be a tad stressful, but it will put us in a better place.  Meanwhile, I am still wrapping up things here.  It is weird ( Read more... )

I've been enjoying the Twitter world.  I wish more people I knew were on it.  It is the end of spring break for the students.  It has been a relaxing, and quiet week.  I don't want it to end.  I am looking forward to the summer.

We are in the midst of a blizzard, and when I say blizzard, I mean a blizzard.  It is crazy.  The University closed today which means I didn't have to go into work.  Huzzah... the only bright spot in this place with poor weather.  It is like a 40 degree difference from the Twin Cities to here right now.  Blech.  I am still debating whether or not ( Read more... )

I am thinking about starting a Twitter to 'tweet.'

I picked up a Wii fit today.  I had been searching for months.  I walked in to Best Buy and a pile of 25 of them rolled in on  a cart.  

So here I am contradicting everything I previously wrote because things don't always work out how you plan and this economy is so much fun.  I wish there were an endless amount of options out there, but unfortunately I really only have one right now, and that is staying where I am at ( Read more... )
