I finished reading the His Dark Materials series last night (the first book is "The Golden Compass"). I really really liked the books, but I'm so so sad for having finished. I felt depressed all day today because I couldn't come home to it.

Today I went hiking at mission peak regional preserve. It took about an hour to get from the trail head (400ft) to the summit (2,517ft) and around 50 minutes to get back down.

I just moved into my own apartment this december. I like not having roommates, but the apartment sort of sucks because I can hear my upstairs neighbors really well. Like: walking around, watching tv, yelling because they are sad, yelling because they are happy. My lease ends in June, I'm probably going to move out then.

Today

1. I had flautas from Trader Joe's. I didn't heat them up before I ate them which made them kind of suck. Trader Joe's was giving out peppermint bark though, so that made up for the crappy flautas ( Read more... )
