Plane Ride Transition
When I got to LA today it only felt like everything I did in the morning before getting on to the plane was only an hour away. Cookies & GPS
Went to the Diddy Riese cookie store near UCLA a few nights ago with my suitemate. Saw this homeless guy outside and decided to buy him some cookies (it was only 3 cookies for $1). It just hit me that when we buried my grandfather, there was spot the to him reserved for my grandma... And I wonder, how did she feel seeing her own grave? Must be a rather complex feeling; Never thought about that before. I hate the idea of death and bodies = = Makes the world seem really morbid. -

Return from Summer Asia 2010
Got back from my summer study abroad in Asia (Japan, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia) a few days ago. Time went by so fast that it, once again, felt like I left just yesterday. I was so preoccupied the last month in Malaysia with finishing my partner and I's project that I had no time to really explore the place - which is a real shame. Lesson ( Read more... ) -

Summer Plans
I'm going to be traveling with the School of Architecture for study abroad in several countries in Asia two weeks from now. This trip will last the entire summer and ranges from Japan>China>Hong Kong>Cambodia>Vietnam>Malaysia. We'll be working with students from the University of Malaysia on our studio project for two months. Not sure if I've time ( Read more... )
