I was thinking that career decisions is kind of like religion. Everyone says different things, and they are equally persuasive. Ultimately, I have to think for myself and make my own decisions. It's a bit daunting to think that no one but I have to choose what to do and believe, but it also means that I have the power to think and choose.

I think I'm a large step closer to answering some mysteries of my own, about my happiness and sense of fulfillment. For a very long time, I thought that I would be happier and more fulfilled if I had more friends and more activities to keep myself busy.
