so...to whoever it was that posted my lj into two forums, NOT COOL.

I put the file up because I have friends on here who, like me, have listened to bt in the past and are curious about his new album. I was expecting maybe 4 or 5 people to respond (this page hardly gets much traffic...usually). There was no commercial or malicious intent meant ( Read more... )

so whats so special about these '1600 hand done vocal edits', assuming the vocals are brian himself, is it fair to assume that his voice needs /that/ much work? i've heard his vocals before w/o these '1600 edits' and it sounds much better than this, these vocals almost sound like a poor quality fm-coversion in the mp3.

haha...

I dig the beat to the track, and the effects would've sounded great with a bit more moderation, or used more as instruments. A lot of bt's more recent stuff has been way too vocal-oriented, it's starting to get pretty irritating.

I'm still curious to see what Sander & Burufunk are going to pull off, though. =]

Yeah, I've never really liked BT's voice, except for on the tracks "Loving you more" and "Nectar". It's good to see BT is still being productive, but I think everything he's released after ECSM has been pretty disappointing.

News flash, BT didn't sing on Loving You More. You sure that was ESCM you were listening to?

how trivial. hexadecibel April 7 2003, 20:26:55 UTC
I don't claim to be a BT know-it-all, so forgive me for getting the vocalist wrong. I also never refered to the track "Loving you more" ever being on ESCM. If you go back and pay closer attention, you'll realize that I said that I found BT's later work (which means Movement in still life and later) rather disappointing. Either way I know what I like (IMA, ESCM) and it doesn't change the fact that I usually hate the male vocals featured on most BT tracks.
