And if my vote choices are a little iffy, it's because I'm waaaaaay behind on the Nana manga right now. X_x I can only find scanlations that start at volume 7-ish. O_o So I'm only at whatever point in the series Shoujo Beat is at right now, sadly enough. ;_;

Describe the meaning or significance in your username: I was a rabid Edward Elric (from Fullmetal Alchemist) fan when I chose this screenname. XD And Becki is my nickname (from Rebecca). ^^
Favorite color: All of them! But I usually just say blue for some reason. O_o
Do you give orders or simple follow what's given to you? I'm not really the bossy type, but I'd only follow orders from certain people (mainly authority figures and people I care about).
Is the glass half full or half empty? Half full! ^_^
Your favourite drink is? Ramune (Japanese soda, yayz! ^_^), Cream soda, and Diet Coke Zero. ^^
Smoking. Yes or no? Never! O_O
Scraping the Surface
What are your interests? Anime/manga, Japanese culture, animals, computers, music, art, desserts, comedy, and foreign languages.
What are your pet peeves? Ppl hu tiep liek ths bcuz tey dnt knw hw 2 spel or r to lzy to not abrviet evry othr wrd! @_@ And yes, I did all those mis-spellings on purpose. XD Also, people who aren't trustworthy, or people who act overly friendly (especially if I hardly know the person O_o).
What are your hobbies? Special talents? Watching anime, reading manga, singing, listening to music, writing song lyrics, drawing, reading, writing, baking, surfing the internet, and playing computer games (And multitasking XD). As for talents, I'm great with pretty much anything related to art or music. I can also cook well, and my specialty is baking. And I've always been pretty good with computers, too. ^_^
Your strengths lie in… and why? I'm a nice, friendly person who is honest, trustworthy, and loyal. I also consider myself to be very creative and artistic because I enjoy doing all kinds of art-related things such as drawing, painting, graphic design, fashion design, and writing music. I'm cheerful, optimistic, and positive. And I'm a very fast learner, especially when it comes to computer-related things (I can type really, really fast XD). ^^
Your weaknesses are… and why? I worry too much, and I think part of it might be because I overanalyze things and come up with lots of crazy/irrational ideas. I also procrastinate a lot, especially with homework because I don't have enough motivation and/or I get distracted by other things (I usually manage to pull everything together at the last minute, though. O_o). I can be kind of shy around people I don't know very well. And I'm kind of stubborn sometimes.
Digging a little Deeper
Who do you admire (whether it be fictitious or real life) and why? Olivia Lufkin. She's an amazing singer, who I was a rabid fan of even before I found out that she was singing the ending song for the Nana anime. XD Also, all of my favorite mangakas (Arina Tanemura [Full Moon wo Sagashite], Kubo Tite [Bleach], Daisuke Moriyama [Chrno Crusade], and, of course, Ai Yazawa. XD), because they all have the ability to combine great stories with beautiful art, which is something I really really really want to be able to do some day. ^^ And possibly lots of other people that I can't think of right now, and therefore I feel kind of guilty about that. X_x
What do you look for in a friend and why? Someone that I have things in common with so we have something to talk about, but not necessarily someone who's exactly like me. I'd also like someone who is more confident and outgoing than I am, so then maybe I can become more confident and outgoing because of them. ^^ And also somebody who is smart, so I can learn new things from them.
If you were in a rock band, which position would you play and why? I played drums and other percussion instruments for two years in my middle school's concert band, and I also have some experience with acoustic guitar and piano. But I'd like to be the lead singer because I've been singing for as long as I can remember, and I've always enjoyed it. ^_^
How would your ideal room/apartment look like and why? I've never really thought about how it would look, but it would have to be some place where I feel comfortable.
If you were a piece of jewelry what would you be and why? I've never really thought about it. And I've been trying to come up with a good answer for the last 10 minutes or so, but I can't think of anything. @_@
From the Manga
Who is your favorite character and why? Both of the Nanas! Nana Komatsu (Hachi) reminds me of myself, and Nana Oosaki is awesome!
Who is your least favorite character and why? I don't think I have any. O_o
Your favorite pairing? Maybe Nana/Hachi. But their friendship is already perect as is without them being in a relationship.
Your favorite relationship? And why? Definitely Nana and Hachi. They have such a great friendship, and they complement each other very well. ^_^
