The Basics
Name: Nancy
Age: 22
Describe the meaning or significance in your username: Just a name I made up.. I needed a new username on deviantART and this one came to mind. It isn't a common name by any means, so I stuck with it.
Favorite color: Black, dark colors, silver/chrome.
Do you give orders or simple follow what's given to you? It depends on the situation really. If it starts off that I don't have much of an opinion, I'm fine with whatever people suggest. If it's something that I know I'd preferred done a certain way, I'd want it done that way. I'm picky about a lot of things though, so I guess it would be more the latter than the former.
Is the glass half full or half empty? It's half a glass.
Your favourite drink is? Plain water, or something fruity. I'm not big into alcohol, and probably never will be. I like making fruit smoothies whenever I'm home.
Smoking. Yes or no? Never. I hate smoking, since it smells terrible, and would wreck my singing voice!
Scraping the Surface
What are your interests? Music and most of the thing associated with it: dancing, theatre, vocal. Also interested in video games, anime, science-fiction and fantasy novels.
What are your pet peeves? Close-mindedness, lying to impress, pettiness, making assumptions before you know me.
What are your hobbies? Special talents? Digital artwork, singing
Your weaknesses are… and why? I hurt easily, and I bottle it up until it sends me into depression. It's usually hard to get me to open up when something is wrong, especially towards the one that hurt me. It feels so terribly lonely when those kinds of things fester inside you.
Digging a little Deeper
Who do you admire (whether it be fictitious or real life) and why? When I was little, I read a book called Castle in the Attic, where a young 12-year old boy learned he could be shrunken down to live in a large model of a castle in his attic. From the castle, he could travel to another time and place, to rescue the ones he loved. I really admired his bravery and resolve, and also his strength and bravery.
What do you look for in a friend and why? Someone open-minded, and very open to me, but not insensitively open that they would trample on my feelings. Someone who understands me deeply, and someone I can understand deeply.
If you were in a rock band, which position would you play and why? Vocalist!! I've been singing practically ever since I could remember.. besides, I can't play any other instruments very well, maybe keyboard, but definitely not drums or guitar.. my hands aren't big enough for those.
How would your ideal room/apartment look like and why? My apartment would be roomy, but cozy. Enough room for me and another person to live comfortably. The decor would either be Gothic Victorian touches, or a very simple contemporary futuristic look (such as lots of glass and chrome/steel).
If you were a piece of jewelry what would you be and why? A simple, but eye-catching pendant on a thin chain to go around the neck. Something feminine, but downplayed as not to be overbearing or flamboyant.
From the Manga
Who is your favorite character and why? Reira. She has such a quirky humor to her, but at the same time she's very real, unshallow.
Who is your least favorite character and why? Takumi. I abhor his insensitivity and his need to control.
Your favorite pairing? Reira + Shin. I think they're a pair that would make the most difference in each other. Reira would finally have someone to understand her, and someone who didn't take her for what she isn't. Shin would learn the real value of loving someone, and making love truly, not because he's being paid for it.
Your favorite relationship? And why? NANA + Hachi. they have a deep, almost sisterly friendship that is idealistic to me. It's something I would want with some close girl-friends too.
