Age: Does it matter?
Describe the meaning or significance in your username: Well, when I first registered with LiveJournal this was my pseudonym at the time - my name plus Valkyrie which was inspired by the video game Valkyrie Profile. Even though I've been tempted to change it with "hipper" and "cooler" looking and sounding usernames, it would be something akin to a betrayal of self since this username is mine, ahahahah. *shuts up*
Favorite color: Black/Blue/Purple/White. Bruise colours, heh.
Do you give orders or simple follow what's given to you? I normally give the orders, rather forcefully at times. But if I see the point in following orders, I follow them.
Is the glass half full or half empty? There is a glass. There is liquid inside it. Whether it is half full or half empty depends on how you view it.
Your favourite drink is? Water. Or a half-full glass of blackcurrant juice.
Smoking. Yes or no? While it looks cool (and I personally would do it if there were no health risks), no. I like my lungs.
Scraping the Surface
What are your interests? Anime, manga, video games, cosplaying, music, art.
What are your pet peeves? Idiots; people who can't type or spell; annoying/irritating people; I'm sure there's more, but I don't like thinking about them.
What are your hobbies? Special talents? I collect CD singles of the artist I like, I find them more interesting than albums. I sing... most things. (I used to have a band called Karisome Status, but we broke up. And I can sing opera. :D) I compose music, well, I try anyway. I like playing with my computer, reading, writing, painting, cosplaying... special talents, hm. I'm really sensitive to things like emotions, intent and the weather, so I guess that's a special talent. I can also analyse something and give out a balanced resolution? :D
Your strengths lie in… and why? Persistent, stubborn, forward looking. If there's something that needs to be done, I'll do it. Provided that there's a strong motivation for me to do it. I try to look at the good sides of people before the bad as well. I've always just considered those my strengths. I also think that I'm very balanced and I appreciate aesthetics like whoa~
Your weaknesses are… and why? I get possessive, jealous, sometimes I'm too forward and I'm too critical of myself to the point that it's absurd and I can do very stupid things and end up beating myself too much for it afterwards. Which is never good. But I don't believe in self mutilation, since that's just stupid.
Digging a little Deeper
Who do you admire (whether it be fictitious or real life) and why? This is a really hard question. I think that there's something that each person has that they can be admired for.
What do you look for in a friend and why? I'm really not picky with my friends. Just as long as they don't annoy me and are sensible when the time calls for it and have something in their heads, then I really don't mind.
If you were in a rock band, which position would you play and why? I would be a bassist. Bassists generally are better musicians (In terms of composition and whatnot) than any other instrumentalists in a rock band, but that's just what my father says. Not to mention bassists are sexy. (Shin, Ren and Takumi are testaments to this, hahaha.) I would really love to play the bass, it's really much more difficult to sing and play the bass together. (I know from experience, I can play a few simple chords on bass and trying to play the bass guitar while singing = ruins either the singing or bass playing if you're not good at bass.) Plus, it would be an interesting change since I'm normally lead vocals in a band.
How would your ideal room/apartment look like and why? My ideal room or apartment would probably spacious with comfortable furniture. I can't stand stand being cramped up, though there is that certain appeal in living in a small space.
If you were a piece of jewelry what would you be and why? Probably a black cloth choker with a silver cross on it. I just think it looks pretty, na~
From the Manga
Who is your favorite character and why? Argh, it's hard to choose between Nobu, Shin and Yasu. I like Nobu because he's so optimistic and his behaviour is cute, even if it's a bit stupid at times. I find Shin really mysterious, and that really appeals to me. Not to mention that I think he acts mature for someone so young. Yasu made a really strong impression on me. I think it's the firmness in his personality.
Who is your least favorite character and why? I really don't like Takumi, though he looks really pretty. I just don't like that cold and controlling aspect of him.
Your favorite pairing? And why? Reira x Shin. It's just so bittersweet and all sorts of lovely at the same time.
Your favorite relationship? And why? The relationship between Nana and Nana. There's just something striking about the string of coincidences that bring them together and how they end up very good friends with each other, despite all the differences in their personalities.
