I picked up 7 as a kid because my name had seven letters. ^_^
first time I read it's unlucky too - then again, my other lucky number is 13 and I chose it on purpose because in western culture it's all but lucky. never give much credit to UD though >_

I agree with the 8th month! It is indeed considered lucky in asian countries and chinese.
