I didn't know how to handle this, Ethan knew, knew I had not been muzzled, had seen me after the red witch's spell, seen me kill after her spell.. It had been a while since we had last talked, but it came back to me, yes, Ethan and the watcher, Ieuan.
"No, of course I remember Ethan, not someone I could easily forget" I smiled
"So sorry to break up the tea party," I said irritably, "but can we get back to the matter in hand? I will be introducing Raven later," I added coolly.
"Lynn's right. Triffy has probably been sick for a long while, but the kidnapping opened a door that should have stayed shut. I am assigning this project to Ieuan," I said, ignoring Lynn's horrified look. "He can deal with this in any way that he sees fit that doesn't involve people dying. I suggest that Tara and Sean help him out, and anyone else with any magical sensibilities. Questions?"
"As soon as possible," I said brusquely. I glanced over at Ieuan. "You can stay behind afterwards and discuss things with volunteers, yes?" It wasn't really a request. This nonsense with Triffy had dragged on long enough.
"Now onto other matters. Some of you may have noticed our guest." I gestured toward Raven. "As you can probably tell, Raven is a vampire." There was some shuffling and mumbling at this, and so I decided to get straight to the point. "Raven is also a vampire slayer." The murmuring became a hubbub, and I rose my voice. "Like you, she was a potential, and like you, Willow's spell activated her." And God knows how many other evil creatures, I thought silently. At least Raven seemed docile, but who knew how long that would last? "She insists that she is not a threat to you, and I doubt that so many slayers need feel threatened by one vampire," I added. "However, I have said enough. Raven can speak for herself." I sat down and waited.
