Yay!  It's our favourite Peter Pan's birthday.  Can you believe that he's 32 this year?  Seriously... it's weird that the two oldest members look like the two youngest.

Anyway, without further ado, I present TWO scanlations.

Ah, I like how you translated "yoso wa yoso, uchi wa uchi", it's really defines K8 imo. Lol, now Yoko doesn't think Hina's a gorilla. I wonder if Ohkura's a giraffe just because he's tall XD?

As much as people think that Yoko and Hina go well together, Yoko and Subaru understand each other really well and have similar interests/outlooks.
True, I think we discussed this before too, but they're of totally opposite temperaments. (It makes for interesting MC/talks though!). In Wink Killer too, Subaru's letter to Yoko (or the other way around, I can't remember) is really touching and you can easily see how close they are. I think Yoko and Subaru understand how the entertainment world operates the most so that's why they're keen to scold the others if needed.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, Yoko turning 32 is kind of weird, even nearly a month afterwards.

I think Yoko's idea of what the group looks like as animals is weird. I wonder if he chose hippo for Hina because of the teeth because Hina is definitely not even close to being fat. I guessed as much that Ohkura would be a giraffe just going by his height.

Yeah, Subaru and Yoko are just opposite enough that they mesh really well. I think also because they're both not very talkative, their shared interests and different temperaments make for a good friendship.

I adore Yoko/Subaru - it's pretty much the same reason as to why the Yama pair (Ohno/Sho) were my favourite in Arashi. They just have this mutual understanding between one another that requires neither words nor grand gestures. As amusing as fanservice between members can be, I enjoy observing the members and the subtleties in their interaction. (That's precisely why I love reading the end notes you put in at the end of each Janiben summary as well.)
