Hey everyone, I want to make icons this year for nanowrimo but here's thing, I need some ideas. Jokes, phrases, pictures that sort of thing.

Anyone who gives me an idea, or what they want on an icon will get full credit.

Mods, if this is inappropriate, I'll delete.

I've made a few batches of NaNo icons in the past (I haven't for this year but there's always a chance I might). Last year I made this batch, mostly using a specific set of brushes that I'd requested at some point (as far as the text goes). Maybe some of them will give you an idea of what to put on the icons as far as text goes? I really like it when I find icons related to writing fantasy, personally.

I agree with jediknightmuse. Any icons that are related to genres can be great.

For some reason, I just remembered those old milk commercials. "Milk: It Does a Body Good." I'm probably the only one that remembers those. What if you made a few genre/NaNo icons with a similar slogan? Or maybe even "Forget Milk: [insert genre] Does a Body Good!"

I'll blame the fact that I just woke up on the fact that this comment is probably insanely lame XD

I actually like your idea. But I've been up since 5am after a bad night's sleep...lol

Woo! (That you like my idea, not that you've had a bad night's sleep. That is not so woo. *offers coffee*) I feel like I should make some NaNo icons, but I've never done them before and always worry they'll be lame. So I'll snag the ones I like from others XD

Man, I feel sort of lame, but this is the first year I've heard of "Mr. Ian Woon" and I actually had to look it up. Do you happen to know how the anagram came about?

Mr Ian Woon = NaNoWriMo as you probably already know, I think it came up in the wee years of NaNo when one person needed a name for a random character. No idea how it got so big, hah.

ICON IDEAS ARE THE HARDEST PART UGH. I get inspiration from writing-related quotations a lot, though it's hard to find quotations that fit in the space of an icon.
