The past couple of days I've had the music from "Charlie Brown Christmas" (Vince Guaraldi Piano Trio) in my head. Usually when a song or music gets stuck in my head it gets annoying after one day, and only gradually disintegrates. This one is still fun, and the melody is still recognizeable. A visit to the emergency room tonight, and a thin slice out of several people's lives all in one room. A translator was helping a doctor next to us communicate with the Spanish-speaking parents of a little boy with fever and seizures. A 91-year-old woman was wheeled into the slot on the other side of us, expelled from a skilled nursing facility ( Read more... )
