I'll start!

Hi, MoJoers! I'm Meg! I've done NaNo for five years - this will be my sixth under the literary gun. I'm definitely doing it again, because NaNo is like that bad habit that you just can't kick no matter how many times you say you're going to try. This year I'm following up on an idea I've been poking around with since my senior year in college, tracking a group of mages who were the only survivors of a worldwide disaster. Yeah. We'll see how that goes. :)

Hello, all. I signed up a couple of years ago but didn't get started, so technically this is my first shot at the challenge. I've got a couple of pro short credits, but I've yet to write a novel. This one will be young adult science fiction set on a colony world. I'm working on the outline now, and I hope to have enough to keep me going for 50K words.

Hi all! I'm Cate. I've done NaNoWriMo four out of the last five years. Most of those I was a NaNoRebel and worked on projects already in progress. Last year, I finally did it "properly" and wrote a revisionist fairy tale. It went so well that I've decided to try a similar story this year to see if I can make a series of them.

Name's Dea or Jenn. I first learned of NaNo in...2003, and said I was doing it, but didn't actually get any further than a vague plot and one scene. Planned on doing it the year after that, totally forgot. In 2005, I really wanted to do it, but my hand ended up in a cast for 8 weeks, 4 of which were the month of November... In 2006 I did 30k in like a week, got stuck, and forgot about it. In 2007, I didn't do it. In 2008, I actually won! In 2009, I did 10k in a few of days, sat out a couple more, switched plots, did like 20k in two days...and then wasn't "feeling" it and quit ( ... )
