NaNoWriMo 2010: Day Eleven

Why, hello there, NaNoMoJo! You're looking good today.

Today's on-track word count goal is 18333 words (or if you're going the finish-by-Thanksgiving route, 22917). Those word counts are getting rather large, aren't they? They have some heft. Which means we have enough words to do one of my favorite NaNo activities: the auto-summarize ( Read more... )

For Microsoft 2007, you'll have to do this:

Go to the squiggly little butterfly thing in the upper left corner and go down to Word Options. Under Customize, Choose commands from All Commands and then add AutoSummary Tools to the column on the right. Then the summary tools will be available on the quick toolbar on top.

My summary:

Nira swore.
Ben nodded.
Ben nodded.
Nira nodded.
Ben nodded. Walls? "Nira? "Maddie?" Ben frowned. Nira yelled.

It seems they got rid of AutoSummary in 2010!! Luckily, my old laptop has 2007, so with Tahm's directions I was okay...

My summary:

“Call me Miles.”

Miles.” “Right! If you'd like.” The young man shrugged. Please realize! Hi, Sheila. I'm Sheila.

I'd woken Sheila. Miles.
