Emma and I have been together seven years today. When we were introduced on October fifth, 2000, I was still grieving the loss of my previous dog, Tahoe, to cancer at the age of thirteen. Emma won my heart immediately. She seemed to sense my need from the beginning. Of course, she could never compensate for or replace Tahoe in the true sense. But

Thanks so much. All my Leader dogs hold a special place in my life, but Emma is exceptional and amazing,
and so gentle-hearted and loyal.
