Wow. Last night I went with Laura and Steve and their kids to attend the musical, Wicked. It was fantastic, and although I don't know the words to the songs yet, the music is still in my mind.
Our going was in celebration of Steve and Laura's fifteenth wedding anniversary. What an occasion!
I am so happy to have been included in their joy and fun

I loved Wicked. I played the soundtrack so many times this summer that the songs still tend to get stuck in my head. The musical takes some liberties from the book, but I really like what they did with the story. I'm glad you got the chance to go and enjoy it!

Thanks, Jim. I haven't read the book yet, but Steve and I have plans to have him read it to me as soon as we finish the John Irving novel we're working on.
I thought the vocal performances were exceptional. I was so pleased to have been invited.

I remember the vocals being impressive. It was definitely one of the better musicals I've gone to.

Amy read the book a while back, but I haven't gotten to it yet. I've read another one by the same author, though. Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister. That was a fun book.

One of these days I'll get through the rest of my reading pile.
