Life, and all that jazz....
Ah, I'm all jazzed up at the moment! :D Went to the Bloomsbury for a jazz concert and it was goooood. Spur of the moment as well, bumped into one of my flatmates (the one I've seen once, as opposed to the one I've never seen!) and his girlfriend in the lift (not like that!) and we decided to go, randomly, as we hadn't done anything as a group. Ha! Yeah, like we do any reading at all! It's a half-term damnit! *hides evidence of reading* What?? I've got so much sodding work I might as well have stayed at university! Damned Deadlines!
Well, once again, no amount of planning can prepare you for the randomness of the world. After having established I have no accommodation, and having made financial arrangements to that effect, I get a fat envelope from UCL detailing my accommodation, with details of money owed, and a deadline of 22nd Sept!!! Had an interesting day seeing how the other half lives (well, other 2% anyway!) Went clay pigeon shooting, since Mum had one of her random 'lets do something new' days, and it was actually really fun! Went to the park today for one of our random gatherings, to discover that Esther and Aimee had already arrived and claimed the swings! Damn you two - I can't fit on the baby ones! Also - shock horror! The Hollow Gay Tree has been surgically removed! A ring of sawdust is all that remains. Now we'll never have a dry albeit scabby place to play cards ( Read more... ) -
