Omg. I am SO tired of this "rishta" stuff. Who the hell are you to have SO many requirements when you've got your family looking for a girl for you? My family and family friends are hard at work for me and my sister. Anyone they hear that's looking for a girl, they call my mom and are like, 'can we show your daughters' pictures? I used to amuse myself (and sometimes even now) with Indian want ads for their son or daughter. Must be 'fair, homely girl with Master's degree, such height..." etc etc. When I told my dad of me getting married, one thing he told me that day was about some friend's son who was a doctor trying to find a girl in town, and my dad was trying to convince me how I could have it so much better because "you're tall and beautiful and smart"...but it's just funny! I understand the feelings, Hina.

Ha ha, you're so great Hina! Don't worry yourself with these things either - the difference with you and them is that if you take the time and wait for the right one for you... you should always have a great, happy, and healthy relationship. While they will not, especially if they have such standards in women. If the woman they get, chooses to settle just because she feels it's her best option - then she will never be happy either.

It's best to find someone that you mesh really well with. Going to that couples workshop really helped me. Also, the workshop was taught by a cute older Indian couple. They were great! :D
