Did I mention that you're my hero? You do so much for everyone, especially Tiffany. Believe me, she will thank you. Maybe not for 10 years or so, but she will thank you.
You're so sweet. Some days I feel heroic, others just sad. But people like you give me what I need to keep going. Thank you so much for your wonderful words of affirmation.
As a daughter, I see much of this from Tiffany's point of view. I can only imagine how hard it is for her. Most people would have given up on her long since (and have).
Please remember that when she screams at you and insults you that she is not being rational. She does love you and doesn't really want to hurt you, when she is thinking strait. (However seldom that might be).
Thanks. And I do know all those things with my mind. I can tell you chapter and verse (since I'm also a social worker) the reason behind her behaviors. But the thing I'm learning that I never knew before is how much it hurts and how scary and how exhausting it is to parent a child with all of those things. I don't discount the reasons why, but it doesn't help the pain in my heart, you know? But thanks for the reminders.
Thanks - but I'm OK with the public reading my stuff. I have nothing to hide. Tiff is not on livejournal, but certainly I would be more careful if I learn that she becomes a member. I really hope that sharing my struggles will help other adoptive parents. Thanks for caring!

Good Luck, I hope to see you at Unevent!
