I am wearing my "Rosie the Riveter" jeans today. Perhaps I'll be a better 1940s wife!

I'd've thought I'd be a better deferring homemaker than a self-centered provider... devonbree June 12 2008, 04:56:57 UTC
Huh. I got a 52 as a husband and an _11_ as a wife.

Apparently I'm 58 (Average) as a wife and 153 as a husband!!!

You're totally fabulous (at least in 1930s terms *grin*).

However, I have to say that it's definitely an advantage to have children when taking this test, especially on the wife side. You get 5 bonus points for each child you have, and that's just to start!

Ooh, I'm wrong! The wife gets a total of 7 points for all the positive child-related questions, and the husband gets a bonus of 27. The advantage is clearly on the husband's side!

(While we're discussing advantages, did you notice that if all the boxes on the husband quiz get checked, the husband gets a score of 75 points - Superior, while the wife gets a score of 7 points - Very Poor? I think there might be some inherent bias in the system...)
