Carter's folks are the best cooks ever. I swear I put on 10 pounds every time I go over there, and Mrs. G Annie is always giving me cookies to take home, too, in case my parents don't feed me.

Leona's parents basically seem to be taking part in a 24/7 burlesque show with added unicorns and cupcakes.

That's actually a really good description of my folks, and of course there's cupcakes. My mother does own a bakery....

I think I discovered how to shift a finger into a key-shape when I was about 3.
