Since peole have been asking, I've made a tutorial for one of my ARIA icons. The results is a nice green/cyan tint.
Program used: Photoshop 7.0
Intermediate knowledge required.
Uses curves and selective coloring. Not translatable.
First take your base and go to Image > Adjustment > Auto Levels Or just hit Shift + Ctrl + L
The next 4 steps come from
elthena's
tutorial found at
hawke_icons Duplicate the base and set to Soft Light 100%
Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation Set Saturation 36+
Now make a new layer and fill it with #00116A. Set it to Exclusion 100%. Turn this layer off.
Now, go to Select > All and then go to Edit > Copy Merged. Paste this layer on top of your exclusion layer and set it to Soft Light 100%. Turn your Exlucsion layer back on.
Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves
Each Input/Output pair is a NEW "dot".

You're done! Another example of this coloring:
I'm going to warn you that this only works well with images that have alot of pink and cyanish-green or a dull blue (ARIA images). It looks very horrible with bright blues. Adding pink Soft Light layers will usually do the trick.
