Other pet peeve
Bare with me - Seriously, you want me to get naked with you? Because that's what you're asking.
Bare means 'to bare' as in to make naked, or to show - to bare your soul is to strip it down and/or to show it to someone else.
The phrase is bear with me as in 'bear something with me'. Bear, as in helping to carry, support, endure. Every time I see ' ( Read more... ) -

This, when I stumble across it in fanfic, is one of my ultimate pet peeves:
You walk to the door, trying to keep your head held high. "Michael? Michael wait!" You turn, expecting to see Amelia, but she's not who's there. You're surprised...

The horror of Disney sequels (excepting the Lion King 2 & Toy Story 2, which are relatively awesome)

I am very very angry right now.
I have recently been bombarded with emails by some fucking jerk (who, according to many, probably lives in Nigeria) trying to convince me that I have won some sort of international lottery that I did not enter and that I need to contact my 'claims agent' in order to get the money. Birthday!
Today is my 20th birthday! This is a very exciting and not at all scary event. To be honest, I'm actually not that worried about leaving my teenage years.
