My life is changing...a lot. I'm getting old...and I love it. I just reflect and realize that I got out of that shit hole town. I don't ever have to go back to Illinois...I will because I love it but I'm just a visitor now. I haven't posted in here in a minute and well...There's not much to say. Portland has become pretty static...my ears and lip get bigger, my body more tattooed but everything else stays the same. I won't be back in the midwest until june and even then it will only be a short time...crazy stuff these days eh.

Illinois drama is so much different than Portland drama...much more intense and real...Not to offend anyone out there but really...maybe it's just the apathetic tone that people here use as they tell me about their completely horrific problems in their life...and then follow it up with "oh but enough about me...how are you..." ...I can't sleep. Here it is 8:30 in the morning and I'm still not asleep and I feel no signs of going to bed anytime soon. I hate how I've been sleeping these past couple months. I mean fuck...I'm restless enough that I turn to livejournal. I just want to be able to go to bed dammit...

I hate this place...I do. I convinced myself that I could deal with it but I'm ready to get on a plane right now and go to where I belong. There's so many people I love here and miss terribly but this not my home...

i realize that i always have the upperhand...even when it doesn't seem like it...i do. and it's worked wonders for my life.

im in way too good of a mood right now. I haven't been this content in a while. It's quite nice really. Huzzah for that...
