My classrooms have been full of concerned discussions about the possible repercussions.
My students are 9th graders from Englewood. My facebook friends are my supposedly educated peers.

Confused and disappointed, as usual.

What is it about Chicago?

I love this crazy place with all of my heart.
From the cut-off jean shorts in Logan Square to the "Don't Shoot, I Want Grow Up" stickers in Englewood. I love all of it.

Here I am, stealing internet from a neighbor as promised. Danny and I finally got settled enough to have date night.
