Thanksgiving

Started prepping the turkey at around 1, put it in the oven around 2, it was done around 6:15 (our oven is seriously miscalibrated) and we sat down to dinner at 7:10. Not bad for doing almost everything on my own! Turkey was good. I made cranberry sauce from scratch for the first time this year and it turned out good! Needed a bit more sugar though

Think of the ridges. The cylinder of cranberry sauce needs ridges!

No way! It was easy to make and tasty ♥

I have to admit that I missed the schlorp-schloooooorping of the sauce sliding from the can, but that was made up by the obscene flatulent sound the turkey made when I was patting it dry.

The oven runs about 25 degrees cooler than the display suggests. Actually, most ovens are a bit off...
