Blech. Another year older. Officially mid-30s. Been a crappy day.

I want birthdays like when I was a kid with cake and all my friends got to come over. Or when I was allowed to skip school for the day.

This explains so very much.

I thought I was going crazy. I would come home from work and the cupboard above the stove would be open. I keep cookbooks and staples (flour and sugar) up there and couldnt think of why I would have been in there, let alone opened it... but now I know....

Well, I am home alone again. My dad, who flew in Thursday night, is back in Idaho now. This is the first time he has come to visit me since I moved out of state. We had a great time. Message from windrunner

The fire next to his Grandpa's house is taken care of. He was able to be on the front line (MUCH to his enjoyment) and everyone is safe and sound.

They are without power for a predicted 48 hours. When he gets able, he will post himself with all the details.

He says to tell everyone thanks for the calls, thoughts, and prayers.
