Febreeze smell

I obtained a oversized chair and ottoman from my grandparents. Unfortunately, my Grandma is the queen of Febreeze. It's not smelling up the whole house luckily, but if you sit on it, you definately smell it. Chemicals and odors bother me a lot so I'm wondering what's the best thing to use to get rid of the smell? Sunlight or vinegar spritzed on it
the smell of febreeze makes me so nauseous, I feel your pain

For things like that, we use a portable steamer and steam clean the hell out of it. Give that a try outside if you're able. Good luck!

I would leave it outside for several weeks, best in hot sun.
