The Thot Plickens...

Not only am I grossly behind with my updates to this story, my stupid laptop fried 2 weeks ago. I'm just up and running again last week. Lost most of my new, unfinished stuff. I did have what I'd been working on up to November on a flash drive, so at least I do have the bones of the stuff I'd been piddling with ( Read more... )

Darling dear - OMG. Just greatly freaking out by your description... How freaking scary for you. :?/

I totally understand about the hospital meals. My hub is end-stage renal (kidneys don't work at all) and a diabetic. Had an unrelated issue and was admitted to the hospital. Totally can't have tomatoes, cheese, potatoes, et. al.

First meal? tomato soup with grilled cheese. *facepalm*

you totally needed House and a DDX.

Be well. Hearts and flowers - from a fan.

What a whacky thing to happen in a hospital! So sorry about your husband. Is he on dialysis?

The icing on the cake with my hospital is that the floors are all covered with this textured carpeting, so that the poor staff can barely push the gurneys around. I mean, who carpets the hallways of a hospital? Isn't that unhygienic?

OMG that must have been scary!

I'm glad to know you're doing better. Hospitals suck. Big Time.

They took me seriously after seeing that the Nitro didn't ease my pain one bit, which meant that my chest pain wasn't vascular in nature.

What in the hell was the "pop" sound? That would scare the crap out of me!

I just re-read your message. Your husband VERIFIED your pain? That's insane!

I had some minor cosmetic surgery about 15 years ago, and the plastic surgeon asked me "how my husband or boyfriend felt about it?"

Crazy...

I'm absolutely fine now. Slight twinges in the left lung area, but mostly I'm good. I'm not even taking painkillers anymore since Wed. night. Still have to see a cardiologist and my own doc for a follow up, but I'm really just fine.
