We have pretty much organized the upstairs!! We were even able to have a fire thanks to E adn Oblivions giving us some of their wood. The SCA/craft room is still a disaster however will not be organized until I can get to my dads to pick up a dresser and CD stands. I had my braces taken off yesterday afternoon!!! It is definitley hard to get out of the habit of thinking that there is food in my teeth even though what I am actually touching with my tongue are my gums. As well I feel like I have horse teeth as they had appeared rather small for the last 3 years. But i can't stop staring at them ( Read more... )

Well I won the Rock band contest at work ($75)and I blew everyone out of the water:)
People were actually surprised at what I could do plus I totally pulled out some character instead of standing shyly. My manager couldn't believe i had it in me:)

It was lots of fun and hopefully I can be just as good next year!

I am participating in the 2nd Annual ATB Idol (which is actually Rockband) tomorrow at lunch and am starting to get nervous. There are 8 completitors which includes singles and bands. I am playing Welcome Home on bass (medium)and singing (hard). The only time I sang infront of 200 people is when i had 5 other people with me. I believe that one ( Read more... )

The man has left again and could be gone for another 3 weeks depending on timing. Good news that if he is gone that long when he comes home he is home to stay (fingers crossed). I have taken on quite a few projects that i think i will be nice and busy while he is away ( Read more... )

Today was definitely interesting. I get to work at 7:45 and find 3 emails asking if the insurance application is working. So i call the help desk as it is not. I then find that another operating system isn't working and proceed to call in another ticket. I had a pleasant surprise this evening when talking to thekillerb69. the call came up as unknown id- which usually his work number shows so that was odd. he advised me that my package would be arriving tomorrow at 9pm on a west jet flight. i would need a cart as the package is heavy. I spent last weekend in Edmonton with thekillerb69's family and had a great time. I stayed with his sister, who barely recognized me when I arrived due to the surgery.
