Oh my Livejournal darlings, how I have missed you!  My laptop was dying a slow death and had no idea where the internet was, despite repeated reminders, and so I just avoided any major online usage altogether.  No more, I say!  My sweetie bought a new lappy for me!

Goodbye ancient Toshiba; hello Dell Vostro 1520!  You are sleek and strong and have ( Read more... )

So during your post I "laughed out loud" twice and was aroused once. (I will not tell what things made me what.) Also, congrats on the new mouth to feed. Socks will be pissed and may die or, if he were half the man my cat Snickers was, kill the dog.
Also, if you have not bought "Braid" for your X-ity box, for shame. It is the best 2D platformer I have played in many years. (I actually logged in on LJ to post about it.)
Anyway, things are going well. Hugs and bunnies to you and "C-dog" (did he drop his LJ subscription?) for helping me through RE5. That was a long day, though I look forward to video gaming with you two again soon.

Woah. I'm trying really hard not to guess which bits did what! LOL!

I'm grabbing Braid the minute we get back from San Francisco. I'm afraid that if I download it today, I won't do anything but play and not pack.

CDL never did have an LJ account. Something about it being too silly in this place. Yep, we rocked RE5 like it was going out of style! So you ready to play some Mercenaries with me? I'm game after about 8pm if you are!

We'll have to get the Mercenaries rocking soon. I find that I am quite bad at it playing alone. (I have never been good at memorizing map layouts in games.) However, it should be good times.
You will love the story of Braid. You and CDL will love the gameplay of Braid. The children will just be confused.

Really good to see you around these parts again. It's been a bit quiet lately (and so have I).

Looking forward to photos of the new family member.

Thanks Hatter! I was wondering where you went as well. I always kept up on reading my friends list but commentary was a hit-or-miss kind of prospect!

Hooray! Lovely to see your voice again. Congrats on the new useful acquisitions, and the future furry one.

"That puppy is going to love my girls so much that they're going to realize Socks never really loved them at all except for their body heat and thumbs for opening food containers." This line made me laugh out loud! I remember that realization well...

Hey thanks! Do you suppose it's like that for all prior cat owners when they get dogs? I know I've had that moment. there's nothing like the kind of love that makes a dog want to live in your pocket or inside your skin.
