I have a song of which I am rather fond but with one line which I consistently and somewhat amusingly mishear - howling winds and dragon dreams instead of driving rains.

Drove to work. Followed most of the way, which is unusual in and of itself, by someone in the same make, model, and color car. Began to entertain the thought that perhaps I was not really there, and the person in my rearview mirror was me.

Decided against reading any more sci-fi for a while.

At least, temporarily. Yes, that's right, the Ever-Breaking Internet is momentarily functional once more. Doubtless the antenna will have collapsed into dust tomorrow, and I will have to reassemble it from microscopic fragments and duct tape, but for the moment it works and life is good ( Read more... )
