So, for anyone who'd actually check back to read this, Jay refers to a time in my life where I would basically empty my mom's spice rack into a pot of instant soup and call it cooking. Generally, the plan was to make it as spicy and hot as possible, so lots of tabasco and cajun stuff, but I also loaded it with oregano and Italian herbs, nutmeg and paprika, whatever.

All this on top of the fact that the soup already came with its own spices, in the form of the mysterious "flavor egg."

Anyway, we made some delicious soups. I think my parents declared them categorically inedible, though.

i suggest peanut sauce! it goes very well with tofu and you can probably make it with stuff you have in your kitchen already. stir fry some rice with baby corms, broccoli and egg and you've got yourself a daaaaaamn good meal.
