A real test poll this time

Okay, following my last post it's been suggested we test it just to see if LJ's FAQs are wrong.

So here is a poll. It's set at the highest security level possible, which means only I can see who has voted and it's only open to friends.

Please vote and let me know if you can see how many votes have been cast for each whatsit.

You can see the results - LJ polls are stupid like that, and they're never actually secure.

They are secure only insofar as you can't see who voted for what!

Yeah, which really only makes a difference for the people running the poll.

Um, are the awards going to be run on LJ or on an external site? Because if it's on LJ, you could do voting forms via screened comments. Er yeah.

It's the thinness of this main window I think that stopped you.

I guess they'd say it's secure insofar as you can't see who voted for S2 and who for S3, etc. I can, but no one else can.

Hmmm. LJ does have a 'Suggestions community', it might be worth making it - if it hasn't been made before.

Yeah it only blocks the details of the results, not the tallies as far as I know.

I just think it's cruel making us pick a season. *g*

I did think that, but it was worth trying as a couple of people suggested it.
