Just got back from Asheville and I have to say it is....

...freakin cool! Evan and I went up to Asheville to help my mom move into her new house. After we helped out, he and I drove around Asheville (it was dark at this point.) I wanted to show him some of the sights and see how things had changed since every time I go back I only really visit one small part of the city. We drove around downtown and ( Read more... )

I loooove Grove Arcade! I wanted to get married there, but they wouldn't call/email me back. Nick's mom said she shot a wedding there and it was beautiful. *jealous ( ... )

Based on my memory of your car, I would say it is a shade of green.

Some weird kind of green.

I think we could do lunch on the 27th, and that's about it. I don't think we'll get to see Jade then, but we won't be in Asheville until the 26th, so it's unavoidable.

We went to the Kitchen store when we were in town for Thanksgiving--I do wish we had one of those here, although its prices weren't that great.

Sounds like we need to check out downtown sometime though.

i'm so glad that you two had a nice time this weekend!

i was in asheville about 3 years ago for a project we had to do all about downtown Asheville...it was fantastic to get to walk around and take pics, measure every damn building, etc...but at least i was able to get a portion of the downtown that included the I.M. Pei building...VERY cool!

oh, and I remember we ate at this fantastic vegetarian restaurant around the Grove Arcade...it was the best mozerella sandwich i've EVER had.

yummmmm...I want to go back!

Your car is a light sage green. Why is there any question regarding what color your car is?

I don't recall exactly how it started, but while driving back yesterday Evan said something about my car being green. And in my opinion it is a very light shade of blue with a hint of green....but more blue then green. That is one reason I bought it, I thought it was like a light Carolina blue. But over the years, I've noticed that it seems to change colors depending on the light. Sometimes it does look more green and sometimes more blue and sometimes even kinda silver. But I've always thought of it as blue-green. I asked at the Saturn dealership one time what the color actually was, and they didn't even know...apparently it was a special edition they only did for very limited time and no one remembers the specific name of the color ( ... )
