I took a nap earlier, so now I can't sleep. I'll probably be late for work tomorrow. truthinboots got me talking a lot more than I have been, so many of you on my friends list will be getting some not-so-good advice
( Read more... )
I understand. I have a lot of people who I used to call friends, LOL. Sometimes you just gotta ditch people though.
It's a lot easier for me to get rid of friends than for me to rid myself of people I love. My mom, my boyfriend, I have deep attachments to them. Friends? Fuck em, I can get more.
Are you alright? Did something bad happen to you? I can understand why you feel dissatisfied about this entry.
I'm curious. Wanna talk? You can email me at oreobarbie@gmail.com (I'm pretty consistant with the userneames, eh? :-D)
It's not that simple for me. I can't get into specifics right now, but for me it was like your boyfriend reading your journal. These "friends" of mine both went behind my back and betrayed my trust. I actually found out about it by accident and could never let them know that I know. I'm careful to keep certain things and people from them now, but have to constantly watch my back. I know for a fact they'd try something like that again, becaue they have no idea that I know what they did. Maybe I should just cut them off. They'll probably want an explanation, and I won't be able to give them one. I think I'm just waiting for them to try something again and I catch them. That way, it won't really matter what i say.
I understand. People do dumb shit all the time, you know?
I'm a huge fan of talking things out, but it's difficult for some people, which stinks because talking generally puts emotions on the table. I'm not talking arguments-- I try to avoid those. I'm talking about having an inteligent discussion regarding the issues at hand. It's hard to get that out when you're having a passionate feeling... but sometimes it's worthwhile.
Are your friends just jackasses in general, or are do you think they're worth keeping? If they're good people, keep em' around and talk about it. If not, ditch 'em. There's always more people, right?
These particular friends are like an umbrella. Everytime you see them, you try to figure out why you keep them around. But when it rains, you're awfully glad you have them. I doubt I could talk it out with them anyway. I'm sure they feel like what they did was no big deal, but it's a huge deal to me. I'm sure they knew it was a big deal to mee too, but didn't really have my feelings in mind at the time. Probably don't now.

Yeah, that kind of puts it into perspective.
