Hey Kristen...you don't ever seem to respond when I message you or anything anymore. But, I just wanted to say that I am sorry to see/hear that about you and WG. You were such a huge part of what defined that group, for me anyway. I am glad that you have started something with Blair and Carl, whoever that is. It sounds promising. I want to say that I had no intent to force you out, and am sad to see you leave. As far as the attendance policy goes, I'm pretty sure it only covers absences the director doesn't know about in advance, so work conflicts would probably be fine as long as the director knows. As far as Hook goes, I thought we were still getting Katie to do the solo since we agreed upon that a long, long time ago. But digression aside, you are and have been a very important part of what the group is today, and I"m sorry if you've felt pressured to leave (I sometimes get the feeling the group is evolving beyond me). Your leaving is a sad thing. And I will miss you :-(

You know, I would be totally okay if we got Katie to sing Hook - I would actually be really stoked if we got her back (but she's over in Ohio if I remember correctly). But Vinay said he wanted Heather to do it... and that's where I have a problem.

I swear, it seems like a capella groups are the source of at least 3 billion units of drama per year. If we could use drama as a power source, we could stick just half of the a capella groups in this country in power stations around the US and power the country on that alone.

Seriously though, Im glad youre doing alright. I know it sucks when you feel like the things youve worked so hard for is slipping out of the picture. You got goals though, and it sounds like you have a new purpose with this new group, so work on that, love.
