well i feel the need to publically document how wonderful my friend rebecca is...because cassie steele who plays manny on degrassi came into the shoe store where she works, and she got her to autograph a post-it note for me. cassie thanked me for my support, which i think is a little presumptuous, but still very exciting.

Background:
Recent developments suggest that the UN may be planning to send a peacekeeping force to intervene in Darfur, but it will take at least nine months for that force to deploy.
