So this past weekend, the WIP group (the group of students from IU, Wisconsin, and Purdue) travelled to the southern part of Spain in Andalucía to the city of Córdoba. Good times were had by all. Another crazy busy week has past. This week we started classes and most of us have at least 3 guranteed Reunidas classes, but picking Compultense courses is a whole 'nother ball game. We have to "attend" classes we're interested in and assuming there are no more than 5 Americans in that class, you are guarnteed enrollment. I attended two ( Read more... )

Life has been pretty crazy busy here the past week, so I'll give a brief "Week in Review." Last week, we were officially kicked out of the dorm and all students moved into their new pisos. It's been almost a week since I moved to Spain and I think I'm slowly starting to go through a bit of culture shock. What's strange about it is that I expected most of what I'm experiencing but actually experiencing it first hand is completely different. It's frustrating of course not knowing the city very well.
