You wouldn’t use a hammer to fix a broken vase.

You wouldn’t fix a leak with a shoe (or would you?)

You wouldn’t seek insulin for diabetes from a psychiatrist.

So I know this girl, I call her girlie, dunno if she can stand that or not, but she hasn’t said much about it, so I go with it.  I’ve always been a bit of a pain that way.

I think now is an important time to talk about persistence, now that many of us are facing our fifteenth hour of blogging.

Persistence is key at so many stages in dealing with mental illness, both on the parts of those living with mental illness, and our support systems surrounding us.
You have to be persistent to survive the ups and downs.

Humor is a great defense against, well, just about anything except ninjas.  Not that ninjas don’t appreciate a good joke, but I think they could still kill you while laughing.
