Good and Not So Good Week plus TdF2013

Its been a funny old week, last week was so good I achieved absolutely masses of things, went for two eye hospital appointments, anaesthetic and me simply do not go hand in hand and given that I had two lots in each eyeball, well its caused nerve damage again to my system so I've been waiting for seven days for it to leave my lymph glands, so far

I'm sorry you are still unwell. Have you tried a decongestant or antihistamine? The pollen levels are unusually high this year and have been making my head throb without taking something for my sinus's sake. I'm sure the medical letter thing isn't as big as you are thinking. Angelica probably said 'Mom's back is bothering her' or whatever the English equivalent of that is and they said 'she needs a doctor's note to come back' to protect both you and themselves. I know you think they think something like you would be irresponsible and come back before you are ready but really it's common practice, probably mandated by health and safety, and not meant personally. The doctor's don't usually charge for a 'fit to resume normal activities' note so it's all going to be OK. I expect you are probably scared to death right now but it will all work out...you were doing too well for it not to be something simple. Fingers crossed you feel better soon.
